This auction is for a 12 1/4"x9 3/4" original trimmed black and white illustrated page published in 1925 featuring a "Sixteenth Century Ship from a Cottonian Manuscript".

This ship was the kind of ship in which Sir Hugh Willoughby and Richard Chancellor sailed from the Thames with the aim of finding the North-east passage to China.

It is in good condition with a small library stamp on the blank reverse side of the illustrated page.
