This auction is for an original trimmed 5"x1 1/4" black and white illustrated ad from 1863 for "Palmer & Co., New York and Boston-B. Frank Palmer, Surgeon-Artist".

This ad features artificial arms holding an American flag. Please note-this ad was run during the middle of the Civil War, and many soldiers lost their arms and legs which they replaced with artificial limbs.

This ad is in good condition.

It will be shipped in a plastic sleeve with backing board.
